Hands of Hope

Hands of Hope is the title from a marketing campaign for an annual fundraiser for the Saint Boniface Foundation hospital in Fond-de-blancs Haiti. I was a volunteer for several years creating their marking materials and coming up with the brand titled “Hands of Hope” for this annual event. Traveling to Haiti to photography and film for this mini documentary was an eye-opening experience, not only for the people, but for the volunteers that run this hospital, doctors from all over traveling and donating their time and skills to save and improve the lives of others was very rewarding to witness. Missing Noir

Set in the true style genre of film noir, this is a dark tale of two unlikely people in unlikely professions as they travel across multiple continents in search of faith, fortune, and fate. While this was a well thought out concept for a local film festival event, it was originally intended as a pilot to be submitted to Amazon Studios before they closed their doors to open submitting. Noir is an art form missing in today’s world of computer generated animation and special effects wizardry and my goal is to bring back some good old story-telling with engaging plots with twists and turns

Die-Hard Romantic

This was a fun little project that was sponsored by a great local film group LOL Jacksonville that was co-sponsored as part of the Anheuser-busch “Haunted Brewery” event for halloween where filmmakers were tasked with coming up with both a “comedy” and “horror” themed short film. While there this was a low (actually no) budget project, it features some up-and-coming local actors and amazing makeup artistry.

Art of Wine

This little short film was just my love for line, and wine country, this one mostly featuring photography from Napa and Sonoma Valley California that lead to my first art project creating images out of corks from wine bottles (which I have tons of). The center piece was actually the top from a case of wine made of wood, from there I drew the sketches that surrounded this image then the installation that became our wine bar area.
